Getting Started

Signs that home care may be needed include difficulty managing daily tasks like bathing, dressing, or meal preparation; increased forgetfulness or confusion; recent falls or mobility challenges; loneliness or social withdrawal; or a recent hospitalization requiring follow-up support. If you’re noticing any of these, a professional assessment can help clarify what level of support would benefit your loved one most. When in doubt, call us, we offer complimentary assessments and are happy to talk through your situation.

The first step is a complimentary assessment with our leadership team. We’ll talk with you and your family about your loved one’s needs, preferences, and daily routine. Then we will work with you to create a personalized care plan. There’s no obligation, and we’re happy to answer all your questions before any decision is made. Services & Care

Our caregivers provide a wide range of non-medical support, including personal care (grooming, dressing, bathing, and mobility assistance), meal preparation, light housekeeping, transportation to appointments and errands, medication reminders, companionship, and social engagement. We take a whole-person approach. Supporting each client’s physical, emotional, mental, and social well-being.

Yes. We have experience and compassionate training in Alzheimer’s and dementia care. Our caregivers are patient, consistent, and specially trained to support clients living with memory loss. While also giving family caregivers the respite they need. Whether your loved one needs a few hours of support each week or around-the-clock care, we can help.

Care is entirely flexible. We offer part-time, full-time, overnight, and around-the-clock options. Whatever fits your family’s needs. Many clients start with a few hours of assistance per week and adjust over time as their needs change.

Respite care is temporary relief for family caregivers. Giving you a break to rest, attend to your own needs, or travel, while a professional caregiver steps in for your loved one. Caregiver burnout is real, and taking time for yourself makes you a better caregiver in the long run. We can provide respite care on a scheduled or as-needed basis.

Couple care means one dedicated caregiver supports both spouses or partners living in the same home, rather than arranging separate caregivers for each person. This keeps care coordinated and consistent, helps control costs, and allows couples to stay together in the comfort of their own home; even when their needs differ. It’s a great option for couples who want to age in place side by side.

Our Caregivers

All Whole Life Home Care caregivers are licensed, insured, and thoroughly vetted; including background checks and reference verification. Beyond credentials, we hire for character: we look for people who are kind, patient, dependable, and genuinely passionate about helping others. Ongoing training ensures our team stays current in best practices for senior and memory care.

We strive to provide consistent caregiver matching, and we take great care to pair clients with caregivers who are a good fit. We look at personality, communication style, and care needs. Consistency matters enormously, especially for clients with dementia. If a match isn’t working well for any reason, we’ll make it right.

Costs & Coverage

Traditional Medicare generally does not cover non-medical home care such as personal care and companionship. However, many families use long-term care insurance, Veterans’ benefits, or private pay to fund services. Some Medicare Advantage plans may offer limited home care benefits. We recommend checking with your insurance provider, and we’re happy to help you think through your options during your complimentary assessment.

Yes. We are proud to support veterans and their families. Whole Life Home Care is an authorized provider through TriWest, which means qualifying veterans may be eligible to receive home care services through their VA benefits. If your loved one is a veteran, ask us about available programs during your assessment.
